About Me

Hi! I’m Jaclyn. I live outside Austin, Texas with my partner and our 2 beautiful children. When I’m not in my therapist chair, I enjoy working out and building elaborate LEGO creations with my kids. I grew up in Northern California, where I developed a deep appreciation for good wine and the beach. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished Austin was closer to the ocean! Other interests of mine include traveling to new places and baking fancy cakes. I enjoy collecting vintage psychology books and vinyl records. I’m always looking for the next great relationship podcast or self-improvement book, which I think says a lot about how much I truly love my job.

I consider myself a straight-friendly therapist, and I particularly love working with people in the LGBTQ community, not only because I identify as someone under that umbrella, but because there are many nuances that affect the daily lives and relationships of gay and queer individuals that are unique to our population. I have helped clients heal from spiritual wounds due to their sexual orientation or gender identity. I also have significant experience working with anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. Together we will look at the roots of your struggles and find tools to help you reach your full potential.

I earned my B.A. in Psychology, followed by my M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California. Additionally, I’ve received training specific to working with alternative relationship structures, including ethical non-monogamy, and I have experience working with trans and genderqueer people. I’m also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a highly acclaimed research-based approach, to lead my clients to more bonded relationships and healthy attachment. My education and experience have brought me to a place where I believe I am uniquely qualified to meet you where you are. I can’t wait to meet you and get started on this journey.
